AA in India
Recovery has been travelling through India since 1957.
The history of Alcoholics Anonymous in India goes back to 1957. The early fellowship began through contact between AA members abroad and people in India searching for a solution to their drinking. Over time, groups began forming across the country.
Today the General Service Office of Alcoholics Anonymous India helps connect and support AA service throughout India and facilitates approved AA literature in Indian languages.
