About AA Rajasthan

Across Rajasthan, the door stays open.

Alcoholics Anonymous exists wherever alcoholics come together with the desire to stay sober and help others do the same.

AA groups across Rajasthan form a growing fellowship connected through service and a shared primary purpose.

From local weekly meetings to state wide gatherings, awareness programmes and conventions, AA Rajasthan works to make the AA message easier to reach for anyone seeking help with drinking.

Our primary purpose

To stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.

Everything else follows from that. AA Rajasthan does not promote any political, religious, medical or commercial interest.

Structure

How AA is organised

AA begins with the individual member. Members form local groups. Groups work together through service structures that allow information, experience and resources to be shared while each group retains its autonomy.

The structure exists to serve the fellowship. Not to govern it.

01

The member

One person with a desire to stop drinking.

02

The group

Members meeting regularly, each group autonomous.

03

Service structure

Groups sharing information, experience and resources across Rajasthan.

Anonymity

People matter. Personalities don’t.

Anonymity gives people the freedom to seek help without being turned into public examples of alcoholism or recovery. For that reason, individual AA members are not promoted publicly as spokespersons, celebrities or success stories.

The focus remains on the AA message rather than the person carrying it.
